Skilled Construction Carpenter Helpers

  • Must have at least 1+ year’s commercial construction experience.
  • Meet a combination skill of the above.
  • Position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Will need steel toed work boots, hard hat, and safety glasses.
  • Must have photo ID and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Estimator/Project Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Completely understanding the estimating process
  • Market and sell our services to property management companies and industry professionals via in-person office visits and phone calls
  • Source a minimum of five new opportunities per week
  • Develop scope-of-work with estimating team based on the best and most-cost effective solutions for the customer
  • Draft bid packages and follow-up through each step of the sales process
  • Present sales presentations to clients, board of directors, and managers
  • Contract negotiations
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with materials suppliers
  • Prepare estimates for projects from $10,000 to million dollar projects
  • Understand project goals and deadlines
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of all costs involved
  • Develop project leads
  • Professionally represent company and entertain clients
  • Propose value added budget ideas
  • Follow up on proposals
  • Negotiate with owners and sub-contractors

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • 5+ years construction estimating experience with emphasis in Restoration
  • Experience with specialty contractors
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Construction Management, Engineering)
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills

Compensation

Caulker

  • 3-10 years of experience in the construction/service industry with caulking experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel

  • Ability to ride Skye Genie a big plus but not required
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel a plus!

Laborer/Helper

Responsibilities

  • Be very versatile and perform duties required such as hauling, digging, moving, etc.
  • Experience in such areas as concrete restoration, vertical restoration, and waterproofing are very desirable.

POSITION SUMMARY: Commercial and Industrial

As a Commercial Painter you will apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, and other structures.

The Painter performs a variety of manual tasks in support of the coatings application and production process.  Responsibilities may include lifting and loading items, painting parts, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and performing other general tasks.  Work requires skill and precision painting techniques and a good understanding of the painting processes.

Journeyman Painter/ Helpers

Requirements

  • Works with epoxy, High Performance Paints, finish coats and other paint applications
  • Responsible for mixing paint to the proper consistency and thinner to paint ratio
  • Operates airless and conventional sprayers
  • Calculates paint needed to cover spray areas
  • Apply paint with brush and rollers
  • Works on preparing areas for paint, including masking at risk materials, and spreading protective tarps and plastics to affected areas
  • Bondo holes, cracks, and joints with putty/plaster
  • Smoothing surfaces, using sanders, sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day.

Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Superintendent

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Managing the scheduling and cost objectives of employees, materials, and equipment on the job & coordinate assigned work with work of different crafts and contractors.
  • Ability to instruct field staff on the processes, policies, and procedures essential to the project and provide corrective or disciplinary action in a professional manner.
  • Supervision of crews ranging in size from 10 to 50 employees.
  • Plan and supervise field labor activities including determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment needs, temporary power sources, and work schedule.
    Insuring all work is constructed in accordance with all contract documents.

Qualifications

  • Five years of experience as a Superintendent within specialty contractor with background in construction industry.
  • Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of construction safety and represents a strong safety culture.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills within all levels of the organization, contractors, & clients – both written and oral
  • Commitment to detail and strong sense of urgency
  • Must be well organized and possess problem solving skills
  • Strong work ethic

Compensation
